Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
This policy explains what information 1Eighty Media collects when you visit our website or work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Overview
1Eighty Media ("1Eighty," "we," "us," or "our") provides done-for-you websites, paid advertising, and AI-driven follow-up services for local businesses. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit 1eighty.io (the "Site"), use our ROI calculator, book a call through our scheduling tools, or otherwise interact with us.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or submit information to us.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in a few different ways:
Information you provide directly
- Contact details you submit through our forms, such as your name, business name, email address, and phone number.
- Information you enter into our ROI calculator (ad spend, deal size, appointment and close rates) — this is used only to generate the on-screen estimate and is not required to be accurate or identifying.
- Messages, questions, or other information you send us by email, text, or through our booking widget.
Information collected automatically
- Basic device and usage data (browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, referring page, and time spent on the Site).
- Session recordings and interaction analytics (clicks, scrolls, and cursor movement) collected through Microsoft Clarity, described further below.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and schedule strategy calls;
- Provide, operate, and improve our services and the Site;
- Send appointment confirmations, follow-up messages, and — where you've consented — SMS text messages;
- Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve design, content, and performance;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences and understand how the Site is used. Specifically:
- Microsoft Clarity — we use Clarity to record anonymized session behavior (clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement) so we can identify points of friction and improve the Site. Clarity may set cookies and collect data such as your IP address and browsing behavior. You can review Microsoft's own privacy practices at privacy.microsoft.com.
- Essential cookies — used to keep the Site functioning correctly (for example, remembering that you've closed a popup).
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on a small number of trusted third-party providers to run the Site and our booking process. Each has its own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them:
- Calendly — powers our call-scheduling widget. Information you enter to book a call (name, email, and any notes) is collected by Calendly on our behalf. See Calendly's Privacy Notice.
- Netlify Forms — processes submissions from our contact and lead-intake forms.
- Microsoft Clarity — behavioral analytics, described above.
- Hosting & infrastructure providers — used to host and deliver the Site securely.
6. Google User Data
Where you connect your Google Calendar or Gmail account to our CRM platform, our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google Calendar. If you connect Google Calendar, we access your calendar list and events to schedule appointments and create meeting links on your behalf, and to show your own availability inside the CRM. We do not read or store calendar events beyond what's needed to display and manage appointments you create through the platform.
Gmail — sending. If you connect Gmail, we use it to send emails you write inside the CRM through your own Gmail account, so messages to your contacts come from your real address instead of a shared system address.
Gmail — inbound reply sync. Where inbound Gmail access is enabled for your account, we access new messages arriving in your Gmail inbox to determine whether each one was sent by a contact already in your organization's CRM. This check runs automatically as new messages arrive in your inbox; it is not limited in advance to messages from known senders, because our systems must examine an incoming message to determine who sent it before that comparison can be made. Only messages that match an existing CRM contact by their exact email address are stored, as an activity entry (sender, recipient, subject, and message content) attached to that specific contact's record, visible only to your organization's authorized users. Messages that do not match a known contact are used only transiently to perform this comparison and are not saved to our database. We do not scan, index, or otherwise retain the contents of your broader inbox. This access is currently limited to a small number of staff/beta accounts pending completion of Google's verification process for this feature.
Credential handling. Google account credentials (OAuth tokens) are encrypted at rest, with the encryption key held separately from the database in our server environment, and are used solely to make the specific Google API calls described above. They are never sold and never used for advertising purposes. You can disconnect any Google integration at any time from your account Settings, which revokes our access with Google and stops all further use.
1Eighty does not use, transfer, or share Google Workspace API user data — including Gmail and Calendar data — to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and this data is not provided to third-party AI providers for these purposes. Google user data is used only to provide the specific CRM features described on this page, is never used to serve advertisements, and is never sold.
7. SMS & Text Messaging
If you text us, submit your phone number through a form, or otherwise opt in, you may receive SMS text messages from 1Eighty Media related to your inquiry, appointment reminders, or follow-up about our services.
- Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message, or by contacting us directly.
- We do not share your mobile phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
8. Sharing & Disclosure
We may share information with:
- Service providers who perform functions on our behalf (scheduling, form processing, hosting, analytics), under obligations to protect your data;
- Advertising and analytics partners, in aggregated or de-identified form, to measure campaign performance;
- Authorities or third parties when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of 1Eighty Media, our clients, or others.
If 1Eighty Media is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we'll notify you of any material change in ownership or use of your information.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — for example, to respond to your inquiry, deliver services, or meet legal and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
10. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to opt out of certain data sharing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below — we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe and verify your request before acting on it.
You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails, and opt out of text messages by replying STOP.
11. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for business owners and professionals and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
